Create is what I have always loved .

For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with movies and everything related to them. I always wanted to know how they were made, the tricks they used on them and how to replicate those at home. When I was 11 years I tried to make a hand drawn animated short film. I didn’t know how to draw each frame, but I did several draws and put them together with sound (my voice for all the dialogues). That was my first attempt of creating a film. And during the process I had to figure out how to scans my drawings, put on an editing program that came with a cheap photography digital camera (it was when they came out, it had around 0.3Mpx?), record my voice and sync everything. It was a really satisfactory experience.

I continued trying to do more shorts, writing stuff and thinking how to make them real. At age 16 I started a long project, a 22 minutes short film that took me 2 years to complete. I directed, wrote, acted, edited and did all the VFX on it. And it really helped me to understand the process, learn a lot and have too much fun.

During the University I continued making videos and started doing some music videos for local bands. Those videos had a different approach than the short films, so I could focus more in the visual side and experiment more with the editing. At the same time I started to learn Computer Graphics (3D I mean)

I finally landed my first professional VFX gig working on the animated feature “Wonder Park”. Since then I have been working on the VFX/Animation industry and I continue experimenting and playing with filmmaking in my spare time.
